A market vendor has moved to the courts to regain custody of her five children from the Child Care and Protection Agency (CC&PA). She is alleging that she was not given grounds why her children were taken.Julia Hinds stated that her five children,Ander Herrera Jersey, the youngest being three years old,Francis Coquelin Arsenal Jersey, were taken from her on December 30, 2015. She stated that a neighbour had reported to the agency that she was neglecting her children.She said that she was at work when she received a call from her husband,Carlos Salcido Jersey, who said that social workers and police were at their house to take away their children. “They haven’t told us to this day the reason why they took them but we want them back,Martin Demichelis Manchester City Jersey,” Hinds said.A senior official at the agency, when contacted yesterday, stated that Hinds was made aware why her children were being taken and also that her husband fled their home when he saw the agency employees and police.“At present the matter is engaging the attention of the court. The mother took the agency to court before, to have the children returned to her custody but the judge did not order it at that time. Instead she was asked to attend counselling sessions,Andre Schurrle Germany Jersey,” the official said.The counselling sessions were scheduled to last for six weeks. However,Jeffrey Bruma Jersey, the official said Hinds refused to cooperate with them. “We are willing to work with them but they have to cooperate.”It was revealed that the children were taken into the custody of the state because of neglect and abuse by the parents.Hinds, however, stated that she was willing to go into counselling to have her children back. “They just can’t show up and take my children without telling me why. At first they said it would only be for three months but now if they add in the six weeks counselling without any contact that would be breaking the agreement,” she said.
