Kenrick Thomas, 35, and Ken Thomas,NFL Jerseys Supply, 31, both of 28-30 Agricola Public Road,Cheap NFL Jerseys co, East Bank Demerara,Jerseys From China, were yesterday placed on self bail by Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson on a charge of obstruction.It was alleged that the two defendants, on April 14,Cheap Soccer Jerseys Wholesale, at High Street, Kingston,Wholesale NFL Jerseys, placed several concrete pillars outside the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) and obstructed a public way.They both pleaded not guilty. They are being represented by attorney at law Nigel Hughes.According to the lawyer, the entire charge against his clients is a clear attempt to embarrass them.Hughes explained that both clients are civil engineers,Deion Sanders Falcons Jersey, who are owed millions by the Guyana Elections Commission.He placed the debt at over $5M in rent. He argued that GECOM had delayed paying them.The lawyer further stated that the Minister of Public Works had promised that the monies would be paid through the Ministry of Finance.He noted that his clients have filed a writ in the High Court, only to have this matter come up in the Magistrates’ Court.The lawyer opined that it is a clear case of the state abusing its power. “My worship they should be placed on self bail because of the poverty they have been made to suffer. They pose no flight risk”.The defendants were subsequently placed on self bail and are expected to make another court appearance on July 3.
