The International Development Agencies (IDA’s) in Guyana have embarked on a new initiative, which entails a closer working relationship with the Guyanese people.The International Development Agencies which comprise of the European Union (EU), the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), the UK Department for International Development [DFID], the Inter-American Development Bank [IDB], the United Nations [UN], the United States Agency for International Development [USAID], and the World Bank [WB] will come together with Members of Parliament, civil society, relevant stakeholders and the media to inform them about their activities in Guyana and in particular the ones for the current year 2010.At a press conference, yesterday, at the UNDP office, United Nations Representative, Kiari Liman-Tinguiri, told members of the media that these agencies are set to launch several events in Guyana,Jerseys From China, which are intended to establish a productive dialogue with different stakeholders throughout Guyana.“The most important objective is to make sure that the international development assistance will provide the maximum benefit possible to the countries that receive it.
