Love, education and initiating the love of God to their fellowmen come to mind when one reflects on the Maria’s Delight Jamaat that is 100 years old.The Masjid was initially founded by Brother Amjad Ally, formerly of Danielstown village, Essequibo Coast in 1906, at Better Hope.The Maria’s Delight Jamaat is 100 years oldMr. Ally, who owned the estate on which the first place of worship stood at Better Hope, constructed the wooden building.
