A security guard attached to the Strategic Security Service was treated at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) Thursday night for a gunshot wound he sustained when he and his colleague reportedly came under attack while in Sophia.The injured man has been identified as 45-year-old Mortimer Maynard.He was shot to his left thigh and was discharged from the hospital late yesterday.
