After realizing that the child was motionless the following morning, Semple severed the child’s private parts and had sex with him again.He then took Gittens to a trench, where he dumped his body.A postmortem revealed that Gittens died of manual strangulation and drowning. There were also signs of sexual assault and the postmortem also confirmed that the child’s privates were missing.
