He added that, currently, the problem with generation at the Berbice grid is being addressed.“The situation there would be strengthened with the completion of the rehabilitation and repairs to generating equipment, and also the completion of the conversion of the diesel set to heavy fuel oil operation.”The Guyana Sugar Corporation (Guysuco) is supplying some seven megawatts to the Guyana Power and Light from its Skeldon plant.And to assist with energy saving in the country,Mario Gotze Dortmund Jersey, Dr. Luncheon added, Guyana has been able to secure a supply of energy efficient fluorescent blubs from the Government of Cuba, which would soon be going on sale to the Guyanese people.
