Two of three men, including two teens, who were part of a marauding gang that caused terror in Guyana by executing two brutal murders within seven days, are before the court on one of the charges.The men,Ryan Kent Jersey,? Abrahim,Robin van Persie Jersey, called Vijai 24, of Bath , West Coast Berbice; and Gocoul Madanpaul, 18, called ‘Clown’,Javier Mascherano Argentina Jersey, of 175 Block B Bath Settlement, West Coast Berbice, appeared before Magistrate Rhondel Weever at the Fort Wellington Magistrate on a joint charge of murder.The case for the prosecution is that Abrahim and Madanpaul between January 3 and January 4, last,Tim Krul Netherlands Jersey, at Plantation Hope/ Bath West Coast Berbice murdered Anita Baichan in the course of a furtherance of arson in relation to a dwelling house.Prosecuting the case are Sergeant Althea Salomon and Corporal Rocquel Mars.Four witnesses were called when the PI began. Three of the witnesses completed their evidence while the fourth, Taramattie Ramdeen the mother of the No.2 accused had her testimony curtailed since she was deemed a hostile witness.Those completing their testimonies were Bemal Rajkumar,Jon Flanagan Jersey, an uncle of the deceased, Azim Jameer, a security guard who was reportedly robbed by the two bandits and Kumkarran Sookai a nephew of the deceased. The witnesses were all cross examined by attorney at law Murseline Bacchus who is appearing for the two accused.The men who were reportedly armed with cutlasses and knives entered the home and held up Baichan and her son Moshim Khan, 28-years-old, and demanded cash and jewelry.After torching and robbing the woman and her son the men reportedly set the house on fire. The woman had tried to escape from the building, but could not because she had been gagged with duct tape and her hand and feet bound.They reportedly escaped with over $250,Custom Chelsea Jersey,000 and some silver jewelry.They were remanded to jail by Magistrate Weever until May 10.
