When they arrived at the access road, the one bandit carrying the gun placed it to the head of a female passenger, who screamed.This alerted the driver and he brought the vehicle to a halt.The gunman exited the vehicle and discharged a round at the front left side wheel. The men then proceeded to rob the passengers. The bandits fled the scene on foot in an easterly direction towards the Adventure Reef.At the time the vehicle was transporting approximately 16 persons, but only one of the passengers was robbed.The matter was subsequently reported to police. Upon arrival, ranks combed the scene but no spent shell was recovered. Investigations are continuing.
