Seventeen year old, Kunta McKenzie, appeared on Thursday before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson,Delano Hill Jersey, on a charge of simple larceny and was remanded.The allegation was that McKenzie, on April 6, stole items worth more than $9,Nazair Jones Youth Jersey,000 from Alana King,Theo Walcott Jersey, the owner of Toucan Industries. He pleaded not guilty. He is being represented by attorney at law Leslie Sobers, who in his bail application told the court that his client has an unblemished record.He explained that McKenzie is employed at Toucan Industries as a porter. According to Sobers,Mike Williams Youth Jersey, the driver was the person who took the items and made good of his escape, and his client was made to face the brunt of the law.The lawyer argued that his client would not steal things worth a quarter of his salary. He further said that his client vehemently denies the allegation and he is ready to defend his name.Police Prosecutor Stephen Telford did not oppose bail. The prosecutor told the court that according to the police,NGolo Kante Jersey, McKenzie and the driver sold the items and divided the money.Telford said that the driver is still at large and would be charged once he is arrested.McKenzie was granted $25,Cristian Zapata Jersey,000 bail by the Magistrate and ordered to make another court appearance on April 27.The matter was also transferred to Court Two for trial.
