Attorney at law Rexford Jackson represented them.According to the lawyer both defendants had migrated to Jamaica since 1985, and had only returned to Guyana to attend a meeting at the US embassy.Jackson stated that it was while his clients were at the embassy that they were informed that their passports were forged.The lawyer asked that the court take into consideration that his clients did not waste the court’s time, adding that it was the first time that they were ever entangled with the law.
