– Speed Boat Association agrees to $500 fare increase for Regatta weekend As the countdown nears for this year’s annual Bartica Easter Regatta, the Bartica Speed Boat Association has given an undertaking to the travelling public that this year fare increase will be at its all time lowest.President of the Association,George Corral Mexico Jersey, Clarence Belle,Blank Manchester City Jersey, says that the travelling public will only be required to pay an additional $500. Currently the speed boat fare to Bartica is $2000. In the past around the Easter Regatta the fare was increased by $1000.Belle went on to explain that the increase will more benefit the persons who will be attending the regatta events over the weekend. He said that during this season more people would be trying to get into Bartica rather than trying to get off of Bartica.“During this period you hardly get passengers coming out of Bartica so most boats will have to leave Bartica without passengers so the boat operators would need something to offset their expense coming out of Bartica empty.”Also for the travelling public,Forrest Lamp Jersey, the Bartica Air Services flights have been launched. According to Supervisor of the new service,Joe Williams 49ers Jersey, Sherry Stewart, this new service will be available twice daily in and out of Bartica.Ms. Stewart explained that the cost of the flight stands at a meager $5000 per passenger,ArDarius Stewart Womens Jersey, with flights departing Ogle 07:00 and 14:00 hours. The flights will depart the Bartica Airstrip at 07:45 hours and at 16:45 hours.In addition,Howard Wilson Womens Jersey, free transportation will be provided from the Bartica Airstrip to the central location in the mining town. The first flight took off yesterday and according to Ms. Stewart the flights went as planned with an overwhelming first day.However it has been pointed out that the flight services will not only be available for the Regatta weekend. There will be a continuous service given the rising need for transportation services for miners.
