St Therese Primary School of New Amsterdam won the second Annual Republic Bank-sponsored Inter Primary school Spelling Bee Mashramani competition. The event was held on Monday in the Boardroom of the Regional Democratic Council in New Amsterdam.The competition targeted Grade Six students from schools within the four clusters throughout Region Six.Before reaching the final stage the schools were involved in preliminary rounds in their various clusters. The semi finalists were Auchlyne Primary and Massiah Primary from Corentyne,
