With the intention of showcasing what they have to offer to students, parents and corporate society,Luke Shaw Manchester United Jersey, the Management and Directors of the Essequibo Technical?Institute, hosted a second career day and fair to commemorate?the Institute’s 14th anniversary.Resident Principal of the Technical Institute, Michael Turner, said that the?Essequibo Technical Institute has seen tremendous transformation?in courses offered and student performances.Turner?explained that since the Institute opened its doors to students of the Essequibo Coast, and?to students of the riverine areas, including?the islands of Wakenaam, Leguan and Bartica,Francis Coquelin Jersey, beginning with an enrollment of 160 students, today the Institute is accommodating over 400 students.Turner added that over the years, students have been trained in more than 15 areas in other courses. The career fair was intended to offer corporate society, the students and those who were visiting, the opportunity to see what the Institute offers and moreso, what the business communities would be looking for.The Technical and Vocational institution has over the years, been able to develop formal relationships with the Barama Company,Emre Can Jersey, The Caricom Rice Mills Ltd,Alan Pulido Jersey, and Macorp. A number of students has been assigned to those companies under an apprenticeship programme.Citizens Bank,Alex Bono Jersey, Republic Bank, The Guyana Forestry Commission, Hope For All and other business entities,Michy Batshuayi Jersey, were on display at the fair.The Essequibo Technical Institute was opened in 2001. Former Education Minister, the late Dr.Dale Bisnauth and Ali Baksh were instrumental in the establishment of the Institution.
