Tonny Vilhena Jersey the car owner
Three residents of Joseph Pollydore Street,Ahmed Kantari Toronto Shirts, Lodge, were yesterday given their pretrial liberty after a court appearance before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.Deon Charles, 40,Harry Kane Jersey UK, Sylvester Gonzales,Roman Burki Jersey, 18, and 30-year-old Ronald Melville,Carlos Vela Jersey, allegedly stole one Toyota AT 212 motorcar, worth $2.8M, and belonging to Rameshwar Arjune. The theft is said to have occurred on March 9,Diego Alves Jersey, last.A second charge states that the three defendants on the same day stole one shoulder bag, the property of Fazeela Baksh, with items valued at $427,000. They pleaded not guilty to both charges.Attorney-at-law Vic Puran, who represented Ronald Melville, told the court that his client is the owner of a vulcanizing shop, which he operates at his home. Puran explained that customers would usually park their cars at the shop waiting for them to be serviced.According to the lawyer,David De Gea Jersey, on the day in question when the car was parked his client was not at home. He added that Melville had no knowledge that the car was stolen.Puran said that since the police charged three persons for the crime it is a clear indication that they are not sure who committed the act.Attorney-at-law Adrian Thompson, who represented Sylvester Gonzales, asked for bail. The lawyer further told the court that his client was held because he was coming out of the yard at the time of the police raid.Thompson stated that other persons were arrested along with his client but they were subsequently released and his client was charged. The lawyer said that there is no evidence linking his client to the crime.Police Prosecutor Denise Griffith did not oppose bail but told the court that the defendants were seen moving the car. When asked by the presiding magistrate if he had anything to say, the car owner, Rameshwar Arjune, said that he had parked his car at the Coney Island entertainment park and his sister-in-law had left her handbag in the vehicle with the other items. The three defendants were granted $150,000 bail on each charge and are expected to make their next court appearance on May 8.
