Tyson, he said, jumped into his vehicle and sped away.The taxi driver recounted that he alerted police before boarding a taxi to chase after the carjacker. Police chased after Tyson and he eventually crashed the stolen vehicle at David Street, Kitty, Georgetown.While giving evidence, Singh had told the court that the robbery occurred around 20:45hrs. He had maintained that there was adequate lighting in the area which aided him with identifying his attackers.Police Prosecutor, Inspector Neville Jeffers called a total of four witnesses.On February 29, City Magistrate Judy Latchman had jailed Tyson for 58 months after he was found guilty of robbing another taxi driver.Tyson robbed Anish Veersammy of one Toyota Premio motorcar valued at $3.8M, two speakers valued $200,000 and $10,000 cash among other items.
