Saint Lot and his wife are Haitians.“It was really exciting to be introduced to a country like Guyana with ethnic and cultural diversity. Over time, we have got to know the people and the people have grown to know us. We have worked with the drug rehabilitation programme for five years; we worked with people through the length and breadth of Guyana.”The couple has three daughters,Morgan Burnett Packers Jersey, Matilda, Yolmeena and Melinda Saint- Lot. The latter child is Guyanese.“Our children helped us to integrate because they are more Guyanese than we are. Guyana has been the place where the children grew up, therefore we could never forget our experience here. We learn from them.
